Upgrade Your 2005-2012 Mustang Gearbox With a Magnum Tranzilla® by RSG

Tranzilla® HD Transfer Case Half Replacement For New Venture Transfer Cases

SLOATSBURG, NY – After several years of design and more than 24 months of real-world tests, Rockland Standard Gear (RSG) has released its new Tranzilla HD transfer case half to fix problems with New Venture 246, 261, 263, and 149 transfer cases.

Many owners have experienced “bearing creep” due to the chemical incompatibility of steel bearings in the OEM magnesium case, as well as oil pump “beat-through” where the oil pump literally bores a hole in the transfer case half. The RSG heat-treated, aircraft-grade aluminum replacement case half is built for extreme duty with extra ribbing and thicker material in critical areas. In fact, it weighs four more pounds than the OEM magnesium case it replaces, and totally eliminates the electrolysis problem inherent with the factory cases. Additionally, the Tranzilla HD case half eliminates other costly fixes such as oil pump thrust plate that typically cost $45.00 or more. It also eliminates snap ring groove wear.

With just two part numbers RSG was able to replace 10 OEM part numbers with a direct replacement part that requires no modification. RSG PN 30603TZ replaces New Venture PN 30603, 30959 and 30961 – GM PN 12473226, 12384976, and 12473204 – Dodge PN 5170564AA. RSG PN 25900TZ replaces New Venture PN 25900 and GM PN 12478092. New Shelby GT500 Trans Upgrades From Rockland Standard Gear

SLOATSBURG, NY – Ford’s new Shelby GT500 is just about perfect – it looks great, goes like hell and it makes all of the right sounds. Unfortunately, it has one major flaw that affects both performance and detracts from the driving experience. Ford selected gear ratios for the Tremec 6060 transmission to optimize 0-60mph times. The problem is that these ratios cause the engine to bog down on the 1-2 shift and also reduce shift quality.

Rockland Standard Gear, home of the famous Tranzilla® high-performance six-speeds has the ideal fix – RSG will transform your balky 6060 into a Tranzilla Jr., capable of withstanding up to 750hp with ratios that keep you buried in the powerband! RSG has two gearsets available (2.66/1.78/1.30/1:1/.74/.50 or 2.97/2.07/1.42/1:1/.80/.062), both of these ratios are a huge improvement over the O.E. gear spacing of 2.98/1.78/1.30/1:1/.80/.63.

Additional modifications include a 9310-alloy mainshaft and REM (mirror) finished gears and shafts is an option that reduces gearbox temperature and friction. The synchros are upgraded to carbon fiber triple cone (1-2) and carbon fiber double cone for the 3-4 and 5-6 gears. The “TERMINATOR” Jeep XJ & TJ Trans Upgrade

RSG offers the full-line of EXEDY clutch/flywheel assemblies, but the most popular is the Hyper Single Disc Clutch. It is an excellent dual-purpose street/race clutch assembly that features smooth, chatter-free engagement and enough capacity to harness up to 500hp. The basis of the Hyper Single Clutch assembly is a billet chrome-moly steel flywheel that is much lighter than stock that has been burst-tested to 15,000rpm. The pressure plate features a super-rigid aluminum cover that further reduces rotating mass and supports a high-cone, diaphragm release mechanism with a higher lever ratio that lowers pedal pressure. The clutch disc is made up of high capacity sprung center hub to cushion driveline shock and cerametallic friction materials that handle the abuse of high output engines.
